Tomorrow night at Jen Bekman gallery, Marisa Olson from Rhizome will moderate a conversation with James Deavin and Eva and Franco Mattes about their documentary art work from Second Life. While more and more people are making their way to the virtual world, Second Life is still a venue for relatively few. And those of us who do get there aren't necessarily able to find the right aesthetic distance to see beauty in the rendered world. Deavin brings us a look at some landscapes and interiors; the Matteses create portraits of avatars.
