Invader x Mekanism Skateboards by Josh Rubin
Paris-based skateboard company Mekanism invited Space Invader—the French graffiti artist known for his mosaics—once again to have his way with their decks. Expanding on the limited edition turquoise and red mosaic print that Invader came up with on their first collaboration (back in '05), there's only one per edition and they're made with actual tiles. Matrix (pictured right) duplicates the original design, adding mirror eyes, while "Above the City" (left) is made of black and white mini tiles and "Rubik" continues Invaders' more recent habit of repurposing Rubik's cubes. They're all available through their site and you can see more images here.

Andre Balazs Limited Edition T-Shirts
Like The Standard Hotel itself, the three designers chosen to highlight the hotel's three locations with limited edition shirts are anything but ordinary. Contemporary artists Jose Parla, Eric Haze and Natas Kaupas took to the challenge by creating graphic tees that represent their personal street style and handwriting in each of the cities reflected on the front, which include Miami, New York, and L.A. respectively.Parla,...

Curated by Arkitip: Krink Incase MacBook Sleeve
In a partnership with Incase, the limited run art magazine Arkitip just launched Curated by Arkitip, a line of artistically embellished Apple-based products. The inaugural product is a MacBook case designed by Craig Costello, better known as Krink or KR, the street artist whose handmade inks and markers are known for their distinctive dripping effect. For the case, it's rendered in an eye-catching metallic...

Banksy Hosts The Cans Festival
This bank holiday weekend in London saw one of the world's most famous street artists (and least likely corporate collaborators) host his own spray party thanks to help from Eurostar. Recent years have seen the worlds of mega-business and street art colliding with unprecedented frequency. Such collaborations more often than not have predictably disastrous results (Kellog's streetwear anyone?) but sometimes they yield happy consequences....

Popdeck x Cool Hunting Skateboard Design Winner
We have a winner! Of the dozens of entries, voters at Popdeck narrowed it down to three and after a close vote here at the CH headquarters, we ultimately chose CSJ 89's hyperbolic take on OCD. The contorted facial expressions interpret OCD in its worst form, depicting a visceral reaction to something as seemingly inconsequential as misaligned fringe on a rug. Limited in quantity—only...

Popdeck x Cool Hunting Skateboard Design Contest
It's time we tap into the CH talent pool again (that means you!), this time for a skateboard design contest with our new friends over at Popdeck. The Threadless of skateboard design, Popdeck is a website that allows users submit and vote on designs with the winner getting a cash prize and their entry made into a limited-edition board. Since we're a bit obsessive...
