The Attention Trust by Josh Rubin
Attention Trust. They've developed their own software (or you can use an approved online service called Root) that allows you to track your own internet usage. It's a bit like spying on yourself, except it's all above board. Later on, you can review on your habits, which may provide some insights, and you can share your information with whoever you wish (and only with those you wish). Privacy is key. Our attention is ours and we have a right to this proprietary information.

FujiFilm SeeHere
Launched earlier this week, SeeHere is the latest entry in the pool of photo sites. Like Flickr, Photobucket and Picasa, SeeHere allows users to upload their photo libraries and share them free of charge. Unlike its competitors, there is no limit on the amount of images you can upload without incurring any fees. The site itself is pared-down and very straightforward. You can intuitively...

Radio Nova
Any Francophile worth their salt should know about Radio Nova, the 27 year-old French station that broadcasts throughout much of the country. There are a lot of reasons to love it, not the least of which is if you find yourself driving a tiny car equipped with only a cassette deck to Le Lude, a renaissance castle in the Loire Valley — as Seth...

Deerhoof: Fresh Born Cover Project
Deerhoof, the eclectic indie band from San Francisco, have a new take on the remix. They're asking the public to interpret one of their songs but, unlike the average cover song, there's no definitive version to work from. The band released the sheet music for the song "Fresh Born" through CASH Music, an organization that seeks to foster an exchange of ideas between music's...

Lost at E Minor
Some might recognize Lost at E Minor from their frequent contributions to CH, but they also host their own site that covers trends and pop culture from all over the world. The page recently underwent a big overhaul. I was able to speak with founding editor Zolton Zavos, whose desk is conveniently next to mine at Cool Hunting HQ. What led you to create...

Netvibes
If you are like me you can get lost for hours flowing between bookmarks, links and recommendations from friends on the web and you're probably looking for a simple organization solution. Recently I've been using Netvibes, a web-based application that "lets individuals assemble all in one place their favorite websites, blogs, email accounts, social networks, search engines, instant messengers, photos, videos, podcasts, widgets, and...

Gethuman 500 Database
The grey-haired among us can remember when customer service lines employed human operators on the frontlines rather than the sycophantic automated phone system that leads the customer through byzantine corridors toward dead-ends or endless loops. Negotiating these labyrinths and reaching a live human being in a call center in some far-off land is often the hardest part of the journey toward customer satisfaction. Whether...
