Onyj by Josh Rubin

Onyj-Brown Onyj-Hoodie

After combining iconography inspired from a medieval warrior's ruthless spirit of determination and the sleek, simplicity of a post-modern urban hoodie, Algerian born artist Obi Onyejekwe, has created a bold and hip line of apparel called Onyj. Made of high-quality, preshrunk cotton, the t-shirt and sweatshirt lines are all limited editions and are decorated with a mixture of designs that evoke the illuminations of a 14th century manuscript and the weaponry you might find in a battle on Tolkein's Middle Earth. The black and gold Onjy Weapon Hoodie ($85) and the Onyj T-shirt ($25) have a great fit and are definitely worth checking out.

One True Saxon
We headed down to top British casualwear show To Be Confirmed last weekend, and every day this week, we're picking out our favourite finds. While a lot of labels here turn to foreign cultures for inspiration, One True Saxon is proud to look at the mundane in everyday British life for ideas, unashamedly plastering huge pictures of a caravan all over its exhibit. It's...
Umbro by Kim Jones
Umbro's known for making England's official football kit, but it's the brand's off-the-field designs by Kim Jones that have caught the eye. Drawing on terrace culture, Jones has created a capsule collection especially for the World Cup. Sticking largely to patriotic red, white and blue, the range liberally uses the red English rose motif, like in the hoodie above and the football below. Elsewhere, on...
Sensitivetype Hoodie
Shari Sakahara is an LA based graphic designer who won one of our Camonanos last month. As a thank you she sent us one of the hoodies that she makes and sells. How we missed this before, I don't know, but I'm glad to see it now. Why advertise your alma matter or home town on your hoodie when you can hype your favorite...
