adicolor Yellow
by Josh Rubin
Neill Blomkamp's yellow for adicolor has just arrived as the second to last piece in the series. While his neo-urbanism action drama short may seem like the biggest budget of all the adicolor podcast videos to date, all the directors apparently had the same budget. This stunning and provocative live action and computer graphic short is not to be missed.
Keep Company
by Ami Kealoha
Shoes from L.A. Based, Brooklyn-inspired Keep Company are a sexier take on the classic boat shoe. The sweetest shoe in Keep Company's new lineup was just made available online in late April, the golf-course green Benten with a white molded rubber sole. While the green style is the most old school, the cotton canvas show also comes in a light grey and yellow, natural, and black with smart ochre laces for mixing in with low-key wardrobes a little better. Founders Margot Jacobs and Una Kim have just brought on the next shoe phenomenon.
Bentens are $89 from the Keep Company store or check out their physical Los Angeles shop at 1757 Hillhurst Avenue in the Los Feliz area (map) after it opens 20 May 2006.

Needled: Docteur Gecko
by Ami Kealoha
Needled reports today on Docteur Gecko who modifies bus shelter ads using light sensitive colors that only show up at night. Like this riff on Desperate Housewives, the results are generally dark or subversive comments on the subject. Check Needled for one of the tattoo-based pieces and a link to the original post on Wooster Collective.
Onyj
by Josh Rubin
After combining iconography inspired from a medieval warrior's ruthless spirit of determination and the sleek, simplicity of a post-modern urban hoodie, Algerian born artist Obi Onyejekwe, has created a bold and hip line of apparel called Onyj. Made of high-quality, preshrunk cotton, the t-shirt and sweatshirt lines are all limited editions and are decorated with a mixture of designs that evoke the illuminations of a 14th century manuscript and the weaponry you might find in a battle on Tolkein's Middle Earth. The black and gold Onjy Weapon Hoodie ($85) and the Onyj T-shirt ($25) have a great fit and are definitely worth checking out.

Polycom Communicator
by Josh Rubin
Though we love a Hulger for Skype, sometimes you need to get a few more people on the call. Polycom, makers of the popular conference room speakerphones, have just released the Communicator—a small USB speakerphone with full duplex audio and noise minimizing software. No word on price yet.
