Outrageous and Contagious by SummerSeventySix
Running for just a week from next Monday 1 May 2006 at London's Institute of Contemporary Arts is, they claim, the World's first exhibition of viral emails.
Outrageous and Contagious will showcase the cream of what appears in your inbox, split into various, sometimes topical, categories like New Orleans and Kate Moss. This image of the supermodel and sometime boyfriend Pete Doherty, doctored to look like reviled British murderers Ian Brady and Myra Hindley is one of the more controversial examples. The show will also set-up the second viral Oscars, called Germ, which take place later in the year. If you would like a taste of what's on offer, viral site Bore Me is one of the co-sponsors, and features a selection of movies and pictures that will be exhibited. This entry posted on 26 April 2006 at

The Live! Show

Appearing every week on "The Live! Show," Davidovich developed the character Dr. Videovich, a satirical television psychologist who claimed to treat TV addiction. The show featured fake advertisements for Videovich's treatments and products as well...

Brit Insurance Designs of the Year 2009
The second year of the Brit Insurance Designs Awards has sneaked up on us rather steathily and The Design Museum in London once again plays host to a wonderful collection of the past year's designs nominated in seven categories by the great and good of the design world. The overall 2009 award has been won, unsurprisingly, by Shepard Fairey for his already iconic poster...

Ross Jones: New Works
Political artist Ross Jones' exploratory drawings—soon to be on display at London's William Angel Gallery—take a look at Britain's current societal problems. By distilling a complicated political issue into one of its constituent parts, Jones looks at our contemporary climate without portraying one major viewpoint in each of his stark, large-scale renderings. (Click on images for larger versions.) While he may not dictate a...
