Miss A Kit by Josh Rubin

Missakit

Based in Sydney, The Useful Chick Stuff Company makes products "for when the gods of fashion decide that today is not going to be your day." The Miss A kit is basically a pink Swiss Army Knife optimized for the girl on the go—it has a flashlight, keychain, needle and thread, safety pin, corkscrew, mirror, tweezers, perfume bottle, bottle opener, screwdriver, scissors, ruler, nail file, pill box and even a knife.

$19.95 from The Useful Chick Stuff Company via ThreeThousand

Ed. note: I know I'm a bit out of school writing about girl stuff, but I figured I'd give this one a go.

I am...accessories
As the search for thoughtful Mother's Day gifts heats up this week, I am...accessories provide a fashionable solution. The Angry nameplate necklace allows women to reply to those who ask that they're angry that breast cancer is still a huge and growing problem among women around the world, while proceeds from the jewelry, available in sterling, gold plate, and 14kt gold, go to the...
TETRAN
While wandering through Macworld (and after viewing a zillion iPod accessories later), I stumbled upon these little fellas, known as TETRAN, in the back corner of the exhibit hall. There's something vaguely satisfying about seeing that cute spikey thing all wrapped up in those white iPod headphone wires with the earbuds shoved in its mouth. Although the website claims that they're for storing your...
NES Controller Necklace
My girl Grace gave me this amazing necklace (after a whole evening of begging and flattery, but it was worth it). Although there's no actual markings that would affiliate the accessory with Nintendo out right, it's pretty obvious none the less. It says "Play Me" above the A and B buttons and it's made by a company called White Trash Charms. If you live...
High Tech Hippie
Ok, the pictures aren't flattering so you'll just have to trust me on this one. These hand-made felt cozies from Liz Maly's Felt Cafe are really good. A natural, warm and fuzzy friend for your iPod, the snug fitting case has a protective front flap and a headphone pocket on the back. Whether you're looking to take the glossy edge off your iPod or...
