Young Lovers Never Die by Jacob Resneck

younglovers.jpgYoung Lovers Never Die are still pretty esoteric stateside—though that's changing fast.

Young Lovers... also has a line of faux-paper bags that're waterproof and don't tear -- we don't quite understand it ourselves—perhaps they were developed by extraterrestrials.

The important thing is that they're well-designed and unlike anything to come along in quite some time. But don't take our word for it, check out the website featuring an animated tour of the different styles on offer.

Antipodium Tote
Poking fun at the ribs of size zero celebs, Brit/Oz fashion label, Antipodium launched their size 0 "Size Matters" skippy tote during the recent London Fashion Week. Maybe it's the drought plaguing Australia or just an eagerness to follow the non-eating trends of late, but somehow the skeletal bush kangaroo has wowed audiences from London to Leichardt with over 800 of the totes snapped...
Ecsotype Bags
Created by Melbourne-based design duo, Christian and Sabine Pound, Ecsotype is the label behind some of the most functional (and good-looking) bags the world has ever witnessed. "Ecsotype is about justifying every idea and creation by its originality" says French-born Sabine, "It's about building from the ground up (our products feel more like engineering projects to use) and the thrill of looking for the...
Tight Knickers
Sydney-based label Tight Knickers use their t-shirts as a medium through which to espouse their views on Australian politics, the degradation of the environment and, ahem, Americans. Yes, brashness is a powerful weapon, especially in the hands of these lads. Their t-shirts are beautifully cut and are made from the softest cotton. I know because I often get around New York in a "Chaos...
Schwipe
Australian label Schwipe create luminous clothing that's too hip for hipsters and too chilled for chillsters but sits in somewhere in between. The label packs the momentum of tsubi/ksubi with the experimentation of Limedrop, and a blatant disregard for political correctness similar to Tight Knickers. They're the sort of well cut, finely styled threads that you'd wear to a Mystery Jets gig. Or a...
