The Monster Mash by Evan Orensten
No, not that one. This Monster Mash is a battle of monsters created by 32 U.K. artists/designers. Each week battles take place at the Here gallery in Brighton.
It's down to the final four monsters, and you can vote for your favorite here. The finals will take place at London's Playlounge.
You can see all of the monsters and vote for the "people's choice" here. You can also buy a commemorate monster deck.
The Mash was created by the U.K.-based illustrators at Peskimo.

Ghostshrimp
Though you may know him as the driving force behind the amazing Ghostshrimp, his name is actually Dan James. Dan recently took a break from his busy schedule to answer some questions for us. What is your artistic background? Artistic background. Well. Let me take off my shoes and think about that. I have to relax and pretend I'm on an airplane for interviews...

Doug Cowan
Doug Cowan is an artist's artist in the purist sense: an illustrator who truly loves his sketchbook. That said, the New York-based artist' work is clearly permeated by an overarching sketchbook aesthetic. Cowan doesn't so much sketch in his book than thoroughly loses himself in it. The result being the most hauntingly beautiful drawings of nature, forlorn figures and everyday ephemera....

Ghostpatrol Pencil Drawings
Ghostpatrol is an Australian artist currently working in Melbourne. He cut his teeth as a street stenciler, but has since branched out into painting, sculpture and various other media. His most recent work includes drawings on a canvas of pencils. Arranged side-by-side, the pencils' surface were shaved into a flat plane making it easier to draw on. His works feature cherubic kids with oversized...

A Paper Tiger
A Paper Tiger is a new venture that launched in January of this year selling exclusive prints by some favorite artists such as Jack Long (pictured). Usually so-called printmaking and distributor sites are unimpressive, but these guys really seem to know what they're doing. With artists like Ken Garduno, Haubs, Tesslar Lo, Jeana Song and many more, A Paper Tiger is releasing extremely limited...

Sanna Annukka
I first locked eyes on Sanna Annukka's beautiful designs when British band Keane commissioned her to create the artwork for their second album Under The Iron Sea. Her silkscreen creations are a cool blend of her Finnish heritage (most notably, the epic poem The Kalevala), as well as the art of the Far East....
