Everyday Studio "Water" Dish by Josh Rubin

everydaystudiowater.jpg

Like other people's children, your pet should be indulged and spoiled constantly. Everyday Studio offers stylish and simple American-made pet accessories that are unparalleled from what we can tell.

They've just released a set of freestanding stainless steel feeding bowls with designer acrylic frames that come in three different heights for dogs of varying stature. Of course you have your choice of design and color, seeing is believing with these guys. The amount of innovation they have managed to squeeze out of something as simple as a dog's waterbowl is an example of the holy design triumvirate of aesthetics, quality, and functionality.

These folks know their business and the secret's getting out; they've been written up in scores of mags from Interior Design to Modern Dog.

TriniTEA Electric Tea Maker
We've been making our afternoon cuppa with the TriniTea for the last week and it has earned a place on our kitchen counter. It's a two carafed system that separates steeping and serving. We like the timer that allows you to set how long you want your tea to steep; when it's done steeping it whooshes into the second, warmed carafe where it stays...
Wowbow Mija
Wowbow's first line of beautiful modernist pet furniture is named for Mija, the creator's rescue dog. Similar to many new pet owners, Kim and Richard Bull were dissatisfied with their options for dog beds and feeding bowls. As good designers do, they channeled that frustration in to the creation of new product. The Mija Bed and Dining Table are both made from 10mm thick...
MoMA Design Store Destination: Brazil
The latest country to get the MoMA Design Store treatment is a land more known for samba and sunshine than for industrial design. Playing to Brazil's strengths, the exclusive collection is heavy on handmade objects that take advantage of indigenous natural resources, such as this centipede-inspired fruit bowl composed of coconut fibers, sugar cane and wood. Also featuring both established and up-and-coming designers, MoMA's...
