McSweeneys' media empire continues to expand, this time into the world of moving pictures with the launch of Wholphin, a quarterly DVD magazine. Named after the offspring of a Whale and a Dolphin, the premiere issue's bold-type lineup includes an Al Gore profile by Spike Jones, Miranda July and Miguel Arteta's pre-You And Me and Everyone We Know short, called Are You the Favorite Person of Anybody?, and includes friend-of-McSweeney's David Byrne.

Included with the current issues of The Believer and McSweeney's 18, you can also pick up a 5-issue subscription for $40 from the McSweeney's store.
