Onitsuka Lovely Football by Josh Rubin
To celebrate the release of a street-compatible version of the original 1972 Injector DX Football Shoe Onitsuka Tiger is launching a fun little site featuring the Onitsuka Tiger National Choir's performance of the new song, Lovely Football. The cheeky song is laden with Japanenglish and heralds the sport and entertainment of football. There's even a karaoke competition version of the song where you can be recorded singing along for a chance to win a pair of Injector DX shoes which will be released this Spring. Classickicks Vans

Like the better mousetrap, we're constantly trying to design the more stylish sneaker. Burlington-based Tagür is upping the ante with their AKA Blank shoes. These white shoes are an artist's canvas (made from a specially treated paint-friendly surface) on which to express yourself. Here's a sneak peek at Loomstate's new line of Vans due out this February. Made using the same 100% organic cotton that they use to make their clothes (it's a blend of fibers from Turkey, Texas, and Kentucky that Loomstate engineered themselves), the shoes come in classic slip-on and high-top models (pictured) and they're lined in the same signature polka-dot fabric used for interior...
