Crummy Brothers Organic Cookies by Evan Orensten

crummy_cookies.jpg

Spear tipped us off to these cookies. We buy a lot of cookies. We get sent a lot of cookies. We eat a lot of cookies at CH HQ. But we have never. Never. Tasted cookies like these. These righteous treats are geared for an adult palette. Though you can get 'em plain, we highly recommend the lightly-infused flavors: Lavender, Orange Blossom and Peppermint. Each is complex and subtle, only moderately sweet. The essences are mild in smell and taste and add character to the cookies. Barely noticeable, the thyme in the Orange Blossom cookies is an unexpected savory delight. Crunchy on the outside, chewy in the middle, and delicious all the way through, these organic treats will change the way you think about cookies.

Available five to a box for $12.99, discounts available if you buy a flight of three or five, from Crummy Brothers.

by Karen McGrane Licorice seemed wrong and bad to me as a child, one of those things like coffee ice cream or kissing in movies that made me deeply suspicious of adult desires. As my tastes have matured so has my preference for licorice and I seek out only the darkest, chewiest, and most complex flavors. Used as a sweetener and a medicinal since ancient...
Caffeine Nation
When a cup of coffee just isn't enough to satisfy your caffeine needs, check out these amped products: Shock Coffee pumps up your joe with supercharged beans that provide an additional 50% increase in caffeine than standard roasted beans. They claim this increase is achieved both from the beans they use and how they roast them. A single shot espresso using their beans or...
Laloo's Goat's Milk Ice Cream Company
Laloo's Goat's Milk Ice Cream Company is hand made on a farm in Sonoma, CA where the 350 goats roam and graze freely in the majestic fields. These must be some very happy goats, because their milk, and the ice cream that is made from it, is outrageously good. Goat's milk is low in fat and low in lactose, which makes it easier to...
