Nike Air: 3 Decades of Cushioning
by Josh Rubin
I'm dizzy. As a celebration of three decades of Air cushioning, Nike is launching an all out assault on the senses of sneakerheads worldwide. Each of the 8 iconic AirMax models is being produced in 7 different colorway packs all dropping this weekend. I'll let the pros give you the overview and will just share my favorites. From left to right above, the AirMax '93 from the Orange Pack, the AirMax '97 from the Blue Ribbon Sports Pack and the soon-to-be-launched AirMax 360 from the Limited Edition toy inspired pack.

CH Video from CES
by Josh Rubin
If you care about electronics and gadgets you no-doubt followed Engadget, Gizmodo, I4U and the countless others who covered the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas less than 2 weeks ago. We were there too and posted a couple of our finds, but this time around we were more focused on creating some clips for Cool Hunting Video. The editing is wrapping up and those clips, produced by M ss ng P eces, have started to drop. Like our other videos, we're focused on the stuff we saw that's best served by audio and video over words and pictures.
Subscribe to Cool Hunting Video in iTunes and each new piece will automatically be downloaded for you when they're released. The first one from CES is up now...
Radio FG
by Evan Orensten
Radio FG has been one of the best radio stations in France for a long time, and they have always had a strong presence online. If you are a fan of Garage, House, Deep, Hardcore, Trance, Techno or Electro you should check their site out. Their current online content is excellent—offering several different streams in multiple formats to accommodate your network speed and listening choice (iTunes, RealPlayer, etc.). A very large group of resident and guest djs keeps it fresh.
In addition to the three main streams (Live Radio, Chic, and Underground) there is a library of audio/video mixes, playlists and other sources. The site is in French only, but many of the words are English and it is very easy to navigate. The streams are fully noted, so you can see the name of the group/song/dj you're listening to. The program list keeps you informed of the live radio programs, which are on GMT+1. This means that the great evening shows hit in the afternoon stateside, perfect for an afternoon boost at the office.
Today's Front Pages
by Ami Kealoha
A project of the Newseum, Today's Front Pages began in 1997 as an exhibit when the museum first opened in Arlington, VA. When the museum re-opens in its new Washington D.C. location (currently slated for 2007) they will display 80 newspapers in a gallery that looks out on the U.S. Capitol. Similarly, the online component that launched last year is a daily compendium collecting the front pages of newspapers from 45 different countries, a total of over 400 different papers. Organized alphabetically, a quick browse-through is a telling glimpse at what makes for news across the planet, particularly on major news days. (Today, a Golden Globes-winning Reese Witherspoon made several U.S. papers, while most other countries ran items of a much more somber nature.) The site also features a map-based locator, downloadable pdfs for easier reading, and an archive of pages from historical dates.

Torchbearer #7 Sultry Sauce
by Evan Orensten
The problem with a lot of salsas/sauces is that they either have heat or they have flavor. Torchbearer Sauces #7 Sultry Sauce is one of those uncommon salsas/sauces that has both plenty of heat and plenty of flavor. Though the first two ingredients are oranges and carrots the sauce is not too sweet; they blend nicely with the tomatoes and habanero peppers to deliver a great tasting salsa.
Available at stores everywhere and online from Torchbearer Sauces ($6.95 for an 8 oz. jar).
