Shure E Series Gaming Edition
We've been listening to music on our Shure E4c headphones since they came out last year and were excited to see the new Gaming Edition. These are technologically the same as the E Series currently available, but they are black (to match your gaming gear or your new iPod) and they have a shorter cord. The Gaming Edition will include the E2g, E3g and...

Hulger PIP Base
You may remember the retro-chic Hulger PIP that we covered back in November 2005, and you might have also caught their fresh new Penelope Base over in Spear-land the other day, but what you haven't seen is the PIP Base, the latest Hulgarisation due to launch next week that's a CH exclusive. Cop a Bluetooth version or go wired—which simply means you'll either plug...

Ooms Memory Stick
Oooms made the rounds last week — check out the geeky visual pun, intended to stand out against the slick plastics of normal office gear, on We Make Money Not Art and Treehugger. Starts at €79 for 128MB (goes up to 1G) from Oooms. Also on Cool Hunting: How to Disappear Completely...

Bottle Cap Tripod
Well, it's more of a monopod than a tripod, but you get the point. This handy little thing screws on to the mouth of common-sized bottles to offer a stable base for your digital camera. Obviously it works best with smaller, lighter cameras and shorter, fatter bottles—regardless, it's better than the balancing act I've resorted to on numerous occasions. $19.99 at semsons.com via Swiss...

TETRAN
While wandering through Macworld (and after viewing a zillion iPod accessories later), I stumbled upon these little fellas, known as TETRAN, in the back corner of the exhibit hall. There's something vaguely satisfying about seeing that cute spikey thing all wrapped up in those white iPod headphone wires with the earbuds shoved in its mouth. Although the website claims that they're for storing your...

Jabra JX-10
Though it was announced about 9 months ago, I only got my hands on the new Jabra JX-10 Bluetooth headset last week and have been using it non-stop ever since. The Jacob Jensen-designed wonder is light, comfortable and great looking. I almost want a second one for my other ear just to emphasize the point that it's as much jewelry as it is a...
