S-Wert Designs by Ami Kealoha

s-wertdesign.jpg

Berlin-based S-Wert Design is a "critical homage" to the city, calling attention to gems of Berlin architecture and the way it's evolved - or hasn't evolved - in recent decades. Their wrapping paper series is an assortment of four designs, each one devoted to a different decade of Berlin's architecture from the fifties through the eighties. (See "Seventies," above.) Other standouts include the D.O.G. Cardgame, which features original work by 20 different designers and challenges players with matching owners to their dogs and a book that traces the history of Berlin's iconic TV tower.
