Sam's Yams by Evan Orensten
Sam's Yams are a newly discovered dog treat that CH mascots Otis and Logan are all over. Having heard recently about more than one incident involving the healthy looking "green" chews that are mostly corn starch, and others about rawhide, these all-natural treats are all the more welcome. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes, but all of them are 100% dried yam. They are great for dogs, affordable for their owners, pose none of the choking/lodging issues of "green" chews and rawhide, and last longer than most other chews.

Licorice Piglets
Nothing says I love you quite like a box of piglet shaped licorice... Route 29 Napa makes a variety of tasty licorice, but my favorite are the black and red licorice pieces shaped like piglets. The bags are a better deal, but the can (16 oz for $14) is a great gift. The Chewy Peps have a nice balance of texture and flavor and...

Amy Stein: Domesticated
Amy Stein creates amazing dioramas that explore her own version of natural history in her photographic series called "Domesticated." The photographs in this series were inspired after meeting a number of taxidermists and becoming interested in the psychology behind venturing into the wild to kill an animal and then paying a considerable amount of money to reanimate it and make it a permanent fixture...
