Belleville by Ami Kealoha
Belleville, like many of Berlin's stores, is a multi-use space that provides more than just innovative fashion for men and women. Look closely at the bird in their logo (a large-scale replica graces the wall of the store) and you'll notice it's composed of mini-icons of death, war, and commerce. Since opening last December they've been hosting events featuring DJs and live music. Stocked with lines like Nudie, Jenny Hellström, the Berlin-based Reality Studio, WeAr and one they publish themselves, there's more than one reason to add Belleville to your Berlin itinerary.
More pictures after the jump.

On Location: Marrakech
Meandering through the souks of Marrakech's infamous buzzing Medina can make you feel as though you've traveled back in time. Linger down the narrow stone streets to find mismatched tins piled high with fresh gem-colored spices and racks teeming with colorful babouches (Moroccan slippers). Or hop a taxi to Le Guéliz, where you'll see young Marrakechis dining al fresco at Parisian-style cafés and toting...

Anuschka Hoevener
Thanks to the connection to Berlin that Project No. 8 co-owner Elizabeth Beer has (she's a partner at Arratia, Beer gallery there), the shop has a selection of some of the best Berlin lines. In addition to Schiesser, Kwik Shop and Bless, they carry Anuschka Hoevener, a designer who often incorporates sculptural volume into her work, though not in the usual puffed sleeve kind...
