TranStrap by Josh Rubin

Transtrap-Main

I think of riding the subway as urban snowboard practice; I'm also a bit of a germaphobe. This usually results in a wide stance with back to doors and hands in pockets. But sometimes the ride is particularly bumpy or I'm just not in the mood and this results in the uncouth pulling of a shirt sleeve over the hand to provide a barrier between me and the bar.

These complications are entertaining, but sometimes it would be nice to have an alternative. Apparently the folks at Transtrap had the same idea. They've made a simple hook and loop that you take with you on the train to serve as a personal subway strap. There are 3 models to choose from ranging from $15 - $17.
