Better than wallet-mangled photos, Smoy's new picture cuffs are brag book alternatives and, if you choose a sweetheart's snapshot, a cross between a modern locket and wearing your heart on your sleeve. Soho versions (pictured) come in five different colors and hidden pockets hold extra photos for a gallery you can rotate on-the-go. Available in brown and black, the Brooklyn style features grommets that increase the film-strip effect. Both models in the collection are perfect for photobooth sequences or index prints. Photos slide easily into pockets and clear plastic covering protects pics from wear and tear. Hand-assembled and designed in Brooklyn by industrial designer Spencer Moy, the bracelets are made from laser-cut vinyl, which, although vegan-friendly, doesn't help the general sub-quality of an otherwise well-conceived product.

Since 1992, the Michael Graves-founded outfit has been producing timepieces by the likes of Richard Meier, Maya Lin and Cesar Pelli. The Twilight watch, which illustrates the fading light cycle every 20 seconds, comes courtesy of web typography guru Daniel Will-Harris. Using two...

Some things are always in style and a simple, high-quality bag makes that list. Moop is just this kind of sturdy bag, without any ostentatious designs or branding. The small company is the brainchild of Wendy Downs, who makes the line of original designs with a small team in an Easthampton, Massachusetts factory. Cut and sewn by hand, each bag requires hours of construction...
Royal College of Art grad and now designer based in London, Karola Torkos creates playful and imaginative jewelry that is quite the contrast to her East German upbringing. Her pieces engage the design process in its entirety by allowing wearers to interact with them; changing up the compositions (Karola makes a variety of styles) forms a more personal relationship with the jewelry.Way more than a...
These stylish hoops of bronze have a profound effect on me. Created by Australian jeweler Stannard Inc., William the Brave bronze rings are stunning, look like something a crusader from the middle ages would wear and the raw look exudes an air of individuality. But the nice thing is that despite their virile attributes, you can actually get away with wearing them if you're a...
