Cool Hunting
Cool Hunting reader and del.icio.us user bradyj points us to the limited edition Asteroids-themed watch, the first in a collection dosed with vintage Atari graphics and animation by Fossil. Forthcoming styles due out by the end of September include Asteroids, Centipede (pictured here), and Breakout, each available in either a metal or leather band. The major drawback is that they're unplayable, but it doesn't seem to diminish their retro-geek looks.
Available online at Fossil and in stores nationwide for about $85. The limited edition Asteroids runs $125.

Games include Breakout, Centipede, Asteroids, Gravitar and more. $24.99 at Amazon...

The limited edition G5500C Vivid Colors watch comes in three distinctive combinations: red on red, white on gold and green on green. It features Tough Solar Power Technology,...
In this era of mechanical one-upmanship, the Opus 8 from Harry Winston Rare Timepieces shone at Baselworld 2008. Inspired by early electronic LED watches of the 1970s (like the first Hamilton Pulsar), creator Frédéric Garinaud (of Renaud & Papi) and CSH developed the Opus 8 with a new twist on mechanical-digital watches. Pulling the side-lever down activates mechanical pixels to rise up from the...
Contrary to its appearance, the Meccanico dG has no digital components. Below the more conventional analog portion of the two-timezone watch is a numerical display driven by the intricate interplay of 651 strictly mechanical components. Numbers are formed by the motion of 23 cams, which are connected to gears and a synchronization system. To prove it, the watch's back features a transparent dial plate...
Suissa recently released their newest wood encased computer called Enlighten. A bit more abstract than their previous works, Enlighten is a smaller variety with the inner workings and circuits viewable through a front pane of glass. A cut polygon placed in the middle of the unit and reflective surfaces add a bit of flair. Only 10 of these sculptural computers are available on a...

The second in Mimoco's artist series, they're limited to...
