Starting next month, a unique marriage of footwear and hotels makes adidas' new ToGo series available exclusively for a period of two months at eleven selected Design Hotels lodgings in Europe and the Americas. Crafted from foot-molding neoprene and easily foldable, two styles, one each for men and women, are well-suited to travelers and will be sold through the concierges of hotels like the Townhouse in Miami and Stockholm's Nordic Light Hotel.

Hotel Particulier
Nestled in a garden down a secret cobblestone path off Avenue Junot in Paris' Montmartre lies the impossibly charming five-room Hotel Particulier. CH had the privilege of staying there recently (courtesy of the hotel, which just opened its doors in June) and enjoyed the luxuriously appointed rooms and movie-perfect setting—the adjacent pétanque court being the cherry on top of the cake. With a well-curated...

Art Hotels
One-upping the generic prints that often hang inoffensively in hotel rooms and lobbies, more and more hotels add work by big name contemporary artists to their lists of amenities. These three destinations feature art by less flashy names, which makes them a good place to discover new artists and the presentation—graffiti-style murals that cover the walls of a room and doors with photographic overlays—makes for...

the g
While the name couldn't be more minimalist, the g's decor is anything but. This five-star hotel in Galway on Ireland's Atlantic coast opened at the end of last year, with its flamboyant rooms designed by milliner Philip Treacy. While the exterior is nothing to write home about, Treacy's move from headgear to hotel interiors is definitely eye-catching. In particular, the creamy Grand Salon, which...

Mykonos Theoxenia
Overlooking the Aegean, the Mykonos Theoxenia has been a top destination in the Greek isles for over 40 years. Their recent interior re-design makes it all the more appealing by adding a retro-modern look, a harmonious match with Aris Konstantinidis' original architecture. Billed as "60s glam," the new decor has an unabashed Jonathan Adler feel with a mix of organic egg-like vases and lamps...
