Google Moon by Josh Rubin
To Honor the 36th anniversary of the first manned moon landing Google has given us Google Moon. Using the Google Maps interface you can pan and zoom across the moon's surface and view the locations of each Apollo landing. Zoom in all the way for a silly little surprise!
Thanks, JGG!

Technology+Spa+Wellness=eq life
eq life is a new retail concept that marries "health, wellness and technology in harmony." It looks pretty interesting to us. A former exec at Best Buy came up with the idea when a friend became ill and he felt there was an opportunity (and a need) to provide spa/salon services, beauty and wellness products and related technology products in one place. We'll check...

Airtreks
Booking multi-destination international flights just got more fun (easier and cheaper too) thanks to Airtrek's recently launched TripPlanner 5.0. Their flash-based map brings hi-tech visual logic that makes planning a trip feel more like a fluid video game than competitors' frustrating pull down menus and pop up calendars. Mouse navigation zooms and pans across continents, enabling users to add destinations with a simple click....

Google Maps Meets Craigslist
In my mind this little utility is simply just a genius mix. The cross pollination of two of the best resources available on the internet-- Google's new mapping service, and the classified listings page, Craigslist. This utility lets you surf both at once-- you can select city, price range, and drag along a map while seeing icons representing apartments for rent or sale. It...

Seat Guru
You don't have to be a savvy flyer to know that the exit row has the most leg room in coach. But did you know that there are a dozen power plugs scattered among the coach seats on a 777? Do you know which seats on an A300 are next to the stinky, noisy lavatories? Enter Seat Guru, a site dedicated to all the...

Google Maps
In case you missed it, all the buzz in the Blogsphere is Google's hot new mapping service. Google Maps brings all the simplicity, convenience and elegance we've come to expect from their products. The pan and zoom interface redraws quickly and the different search methods are task oriented and logical. Here's a product tour if you'd prefer to learn more before jumping in....

Twister
Finally... something kinda out there and interesting. I don't know if it will ever work, but Sony's Interaction Lab has come up with a pretty cool concept for eliminating buttons and avoiding the easy blunders of an exposed touch screen. In the Gummi, the team has combined a standard, rigid LCD with sensors and a touch pad all mounted in a flexible acrylic plastic...
