Cool Hunting

Yahoo! Picks: Cool Hunting by Josh Rubin

Ma Pk 1

From designer and strategist Josh Rubin comes this daily dose of "stuff from the intersection of design, culture and technology." Culled from the interests of a 12-member staff, Cool Hunting offers brief postings on items in such categories as food, future, T-shirts, and mobility (check out the bicycles). We uncovered reviews of a 17-year-old blues singer from Canada, a delectable-sounding Argentinian cookie, and the art movement behind secret wall tattooing. Books, trends, and new sites also surface under each section. The sneakers chapter is particularly wonderful; we found write-ups on the Oki-Ni Adidas Tennis Hi and customized Vans. Whether you look cool or act cool is up to you -- but Cool Hunting will provide first-class fodder and a fun read. (in Weblogs)
