If you're heading to Sonar next week, you may want to take a detour to the Spanish island of Palma de Mallorca to enjoy PuroBeach, the latest add-on to Swede entreprenuer Mats Walhstrøm's hippie-lux boutique hotel Puro that he opened last year. Perched on a mini-peninsula that juts into Palma's bay, the new hangout offers beach and poolside dining and massages, morning yoga taught by Santa Monica imports, tai-chi, and spa treatments, all set to a soundtrack provided by DJ Fabian. Nightly parties with guest DJs balance daytime indulgences with nightime revelry.
