Juicy Water by Parker Hutchinson

JWCR_low.jpg

Because of Cool Hunting's unusually high Juicy Water by Innocent Drinks. The health-focused U.K. company is taking aim at the shortcomings of most juice drinks: they're either packed with preservatives or simply far too sweet. Innocent's solution is to start with spring water (about 70% of the mix) and add only real fruit and a dash of sugar. The result is a light and delicious thirst-quencher that's hydrating and healthy. Though the drinks aren't yet available stateside, Britons can enjoy them in four flavors: black currant, cranberry-raspberry, lemon-lime, and mango-passion fruit.

Hou Hou Shu Sparkling Sake
For an unconventional New Year's toast, we can't think of a better option than Marumoto Brewery's Hou Hou Shu, a sparkling unfiltered Junmaishu sake. Tim and I first sampled it when we visited NYC's tofu restaurant Kyotofu and loved the light, slightly sweet flavor and gentle, natural carbonation which makes for a drinking experience very similar to champagne. At only 6% alcohol, the fruity...
