Cool Hunting

A friend recently introduced me to these tasty coffee candies that advertise themselves as an alternative "when you don't have time for coffee." These old school hard candies are a welcome addition to the candy drawer and at about $1 a box, a welcome relief from a $4 cup of coffee. Available in regular and cappuccino flavor.
Ed. Note: they have 6mg of caffeine as opposed to the 100mg in a cup of coffee, so while they're certainly tasty they don't quite fulfill the morning fix.

For the Love of Beans
I just got back from Costa Rica and, among so many other wonderful things about this friendly country, I fell in love with the coffee. If you think you can’t live without your daily Starbucks, you’ll about lose yourself in the incredible aromas and rich flavor of Costa Rican beans. Pearl-shaped and tiny, the Manhattan patisserie Trois Crepes' Dark Chocolate Pearls contain something like a buttery Rice Krispy in a coverture of bittersweet chocolate. A pleasing crunch and slight saltiness makes for a surprising experience, but the chocolate balances both the flavor and texture.
