War of Monsters by Carol T Chung
The War Of Monsters is where Koadzn duke it out with 80 illustrators and graphic designers from all over the world in the theme of kaiju (big monster films). Koadzn sets the stage by creating an illustration and then the battle begins. The opponent responds in a graphic battle for domination. The work will be available as a book in postcard format. The battle above features Koadzn versus Ogi.
Update:There's a War of Monsters exhibit at The Lazy Dog in Paris.

Mike Perry
One of the hardest working typographers we know, Mike Perry is currently working on his second book. Check out the Brooklyn-based designer's first book, "Hand Job: A Catalog of Type," which is a great collection of hand-drawn type out out by Princeton Architectural press. It's hard to look at this site and not be motivated to get working too!...

Onesidezero
Onesidezero is a designer and illustrator from Leicester, U.K. Of his work he says: "I love to include flowing vibrant colors, bold images and strange creatures in my work, I usually sketch my initial concepts whilst listening to music, which helps me think. An early sketch usually starts off with a few basic shapes, I'll sometimes re-draw an idea a number of times changing...

André Rösler
The extraordinary creatures created by the hand of André Rösler can be sweet, scary and beautiful—often all at the same time. This German illustrative artist, who forms one quarter of the group behind the Bastard Project, has a broad range of work including book illustrations, paintings and animation. But the work we love best are the large murals that he launches onto walls with...

French Bistro Chairs
Since recently attempting (and failing) to draw one of the chairs most often associated with the sidewalk cafés of Paris, my fondness for their two-color woven seatbacks and curving wood frames has grown even more. Fortunately for us stateside dwellers, American Rag's housewares division Maison-Midi carries them in a few different styles and colors. Made of wood and nylon in Italy, they start at...
