Mark Wahlberg, pictured at right, is even a fan. The area code shirts are the brainchild of long time friends Mike Kirschenbaum and James Starr. Fiber and Fellow Fall/Winter 09
Fiber & Fellow has been on our radar for some time now, but we are especially impressed with their upcoming Fall/Winter 09 collection which is due out late this Summer. Based out of Long Beach, California, Fiber & Fellow's latest menswear collection might fit better in the woods than on the beach. What I like most is the blend of traditional and contemporary styles...

Ludwig Boutique
Using fabric and accoutrements from vintage dead-stock, Ludwig offers streetwear apparel with a twist. Ludwig's new L.A. store, located on the outskirts of Chinatown, features tastefully done pieces for men. Stocked with classics like well-constructed nylon parkas (pictured right) and plaid button-downs for the Ivy League set (pictured below), they also offer the obligatory graphic-inspired tees and caps. Palihouse Holloway Hotel, Los Angeles
Just down the hill from the hustle and bustle of Sunset Boulevard sits the Palihouse Holloway Hotel. I recently had the opportunity to stay at the quiet, NYC apartment-style hotel in the heart of West Hollywood and was expectedly pleased. Perfect for an extended stay, the tucked-away boutique spot has all the amenities of being at home—the one we wish we had—including a full...

All Things Generic Pop-Up Store
The Generic Man's All Things Generic pop-up store, housed inside Space 1520 (Urban Outfitter's concept mini-mall for indie labels in Hollywood), is anything but generic. Launching officially on 13 June 2009 and open until the first week of July, the L.A.-based label's dress and casual shoes under the Generic Man and Generic Surplus labels are elegant, stylish and the focus of the temporary boutique....

Thrillist x Cool Hunting Loft Party
Cool Hunting sponsored an old-school early-'90s jam at the Thrillist Loft earlier this week as part of their week of parties. Absolut Vodka supplied an open bar, calling for many drinks, dances and adventurous picture poses. The classic tunes—from Black Street to SWV—supplied by the illustrious DJ Sharee got the dancefloor going, assisted by a breakdancing troupe. We'd like to shout out our thanks...
