13 Favorite Links
by Josh Rubin
Many of you have asked what sites I read regularly. The truth is that I track a few hundred of them using RSS. With that much information, it's easy to overload so I maintain a list of 13 must-read sites for those keep-it-simple days. I've just added those 13 to a 'favorite links' section on the right side of the home page. Favorites change from time to time, so keep an eye on the list for updates.
Mini Mate
by Josh Rubin
The Mac Mini has such great potential to be a home media hub, but the hard drive options it ships with are not very well suited to such use. Apparently upgrading to a higher capacity internal drive isn't much of an option either because they'll run too hot and cause too many problems-- not to mention the innards of this thing are even complex for a Mac certified technician to navigate.
The MicroNet miniMate solves this problem by adding a drive with up to 400GB of space in a case that matches the footprint and finish of the Mini. The unit is self cooling so no fans to disturb the Mini's zen.

Bell & Ross Instrument Series
by Josh Rubin
Earlier this month, at Baselworld 2005, one of my all time favorite watch manufacturers Bell & Ross announced their new Instrument Series. It wasn't until Gizmodo picked it up today from a post on Watch Report that I tuned in, but better a few weeks late than never.
The series is based on the design of cockpit instrumentation and includes an automatic, a chrono, a big date and a chrono model in both stainless and carbon finishes with black or white faces.
Invader Deck
by Josh Rubin
We've covered the French 80's gamer artists-fetishist Invader a couple times here before. It started with his mosaics installed around all the major global cities. Then he did sneakers, with Space Invader characters in the sole. Then a book. Now his product expansion continues with a skateboard deck, available on Invader's site and at Mekanism.
Dephect Clothing
by Josh Spear
London based Depecht Clothing has a nice collection of t-shirts, clearly inspired by street culture and graffiti. Lots of turntables and scratching references, graffiti hand styles and more. I think this "Scratch" shirt while very urban, is simple clean and effective. Also, they are offering free shipping on all UK orders right now.
