Hooger

This image is from a large series of interactive animations in a set called Modern Living by Han Hoogerbrugge. Most of the animations work by moving your mouse over them to activate specific parts of the image-- making the character move and respond to his sorroundings, or sometimes even himself. They are all little stories about everyday life and it's said that the character in each animation is drawn after a real life person. They are really creative, and have a quirky yet unique sense of humor.

PostSecret
Frank Warren initially started this as an interactive art piece. PostSecret is a blog in which people anonymously submit their secrets on handmade 4 x 6 inch postcards via snail mail. Although some of the submissions are very humorous, others are very sad and some politically incorrect. Not only does the work evoke strong sentiments or even memories from the audience, but it also...
The Zoom Quilt

The project allows you to zoom in and out of what seems to be an infinite world, presumably graphics all done by different individual artists....
I Want You To Want Me Video
"I Want You To Want Me," an interactive piece on the subject of online dating and relationships by perennial CH fave Jonathan Harris and his collaborator Sep Kamvar, and one of the standouts commissioned for MoMA's recent Design and the Elastic Mind exhibit, is the subject of this m ss ng p eces produced video. For anyone who missed the show at MoMA, the short...
Lost at E Minor
Some might recognize Lost at E Minor from their frequent contributions to CH, but they also host their own site that covers trends and pop culture from all over the world. The page recently underwent a big overhaul. I was able to speak with founding editor Zolton Zavos, whose desk is conveniently next to mine at Cool Hunting HQ. What led you to create...
