Have Lunch in Style by Ari Bendersky

lunchbag_ari.jpgBuilt NY put out a great wine carrying bag (I have the two bottle ByoBag and I absolutely love it). This year, they may have topped their design with two new products: a six-pack carrying bag and a lunch bag. All of their products are made out of neoprene, so food or beverages stay hot or cold. In addition to acting as an insulator, the neoprene serves as a protective padding to help prevent bottles from breaking. Even better, the lunch bag opens up to act as a placemat.

Taking a holistic—almost philosophical—approach the book offers ways to increase enjoyment of food...
Steep Design
"This is what happens when designers and connoisseurs meet for tea," says Gamila Design, creators of The Tea Stick. Touted as one of the most operative ways to brew a perfect cup, this stainless steel device beats out both paper tea bags and "pour-over" steeping systems in both ease of use and sleek sexiness. It's a simple mechanism with no breakable parts; scoop the...
Big Head Coasters
j-me was founded by 2 brothers, Mark and Jamie who created these Big Head Coasters. They're stackable either laying down or standing up. A pack contains 4 coasters, 2 boys and 2 girls. I can't think of a more pleasant way to wake up than to pin one of those big headed boys or girls with my cup of tea. Serves them right for...
Emerald Peacock Bar
Following the success of their Red Hummingbird on Russell Street in Melbourne (famous for its hummingbird wallpaper), the owners recently opened The Emerald Peacock bar and restaurant on Londsdale Street. While I'm sure the food and drink is fantastic, it's the sumptuous interior that's creating all the buzz. It again features signature wallpaper, used as the starting point for the entire design. Each space...
