Misprinted Type
by Josh Spear
Misprinted Type is the portfolio and work of Eduardo Recife. He uses all of his own fonts and photoshop brushes in his designs. The designs are all very life like-- a mixed media feel with brilliant textures. What's so great about his work is he is offering most of his fonts for free download, as well as a number of photoshop brushes. The young Brazilian based designer gets my nod of approval for his inspirational uses and inventions with typography. His photography and illustration is also shown.
Superstar DJ: Ben Watt
by Ari Bendersky
Jay Hannan, another stellar DJ. This 2-CD set was a direct result of the Lazy Dog club night they put on every Sunday in Notting Hill in London and it was some of the best deep house produced in the late 90s. They followed this up with a second volume and then sadly, after five years, announced the dissolution of Lazy Dog to pursue other interests
GDC: Tuesday Mobile Summary
by Carol T Chung

On Tuesday, I spent most of my time running about the GDC Mobile Game circusóI mean circuit *wink*... I went to most of the morning discussions which were about the future of the industry as well as some business ones in the afternoon and closing discussions towards the end. Needless to say, I'm just a tad fatigued. But who really cares anyway, I'm here for you whether you like it or not. Have no fear (it is a mind killer, you know)... All this info is good for you, like broccoli.
Here's some bait to take the leap: Did you know... Revenues for the mobile game industry are forecasted to grow from $160 million in 2003 to $1.7 billion in 2008???
[insert pause]
Oh, what's that you say? You want me to do a count down? Well, alright, whatever suits your fancy and I only wish you the best... 3, 2, 1ó
