Puma and Vexed Generation will be releasing the second season of their collaboration, Urban Mobility. The line is designed to target the needs of the urban rider by delivering adaptable performance-wear that fuses cutting edge styling with highly technical designs. Yeah, it does that very well-- having the opportunity to sport a couple samples around town, I have to say the pieces move great and are quite the head turners.
The Protective Jacket is my favorite from the collection. It's a waterproof and breathable shell that features open chest and sleeve vents, coated water repellent zips, external seam coverage, and expansion panels in the arms and sides. The jacket has a sleek, slim-fitting profile that's reminiscent of the days when Prada was good. Keep an eye on your local Puma store; when this stuff drops it's going to go fast!

Puma, Vexed and Biomega teamed up to create this highly functional, yet totally minimal bike. I had the chance to try it out last week and was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting the looks would exceed the comfort and function. As it turns out, they're evenly matched. This team has managed to create an urban apartment friendly, folding bike that rides like it has...
The latest item from the ongoing Puma and Vexed Generation collaboration is this urban cycler hoodie. More functional than the Anticon Hoodie, but aesthetically similar, this one has a built in face mask with removable filters. The jacket also features reflective piping and special flaps to keep your backside dry while riding in the rain. Related Posts: Puma + Vexed: Urban Mobility, First Glimpse:...
Shift Bicycle was designed by Scott Shim, Ryan Lightbody and Matt Grossman, and it won them top honors in a bicycle design competition held by the Taiwanese Government. The technology is simple, the back paired wheels come together by an articulated hub when the bike is in motion--but when it's still they spread apart for stability. via Engadget...
by Kelsey Keith With its three meter square Paco Cube, Schemata Architecture Office reinvents the vacation house. The space age looking portable living cube with stark white epoxy interior was designed by architect Nagasaka Hisashi to be equally at home on a beach, in a forest or inside an industrial loft. Think of it as an upgraded tent, as conceptual in nature as it is...
Rapha Performance Roadwear's new collaboration with tailor Timothy Everest, one of the leading practitioners of the New Bespoke Movement, isn't doing anything to help stop the brand lust I already have for the cyclewear company. I was recently invited by Slate Olsen, Rapha's General Manager for USA operations, to check it out at Signature Cycles' Manhattan showroom near West End Avenue, a trek I made...
Red Wing Shoes has been turning out heavy-duty footwear at its plant on the the banks of the Mississippi River since 1905. The Minnesota-based company that shoes factory workers, soldiers, ranchers and increasingly urbanites alike teamed up with the designers Nom de Guerre to pair durability and function with style. The result is a sleek gray six-inch workboot (£289) which has the aesthetic of...
