Casey Weldon by Carol T Chung
Casey Weldon creates provocative work. Some are serene; others are somewhat chilling (in a way that poses questions like "who are you? and would you like a hug?"). Casey you are a wonder... at least till you get your about page up. All his work is rather intense and some need no explanation whatsoever. For example, the piece to the left, entitled "McNipple"--need I say more?

More Wants For Sale
New York artists Christine Santora and Justin Gignac are at it again, launching another series on their “Wants For Sale” website. Justin dropped us a line with a few teaser images from their new collection launching today at noon, stating “We're pretty excited because we think these are the best paintings yet. We have "To Get Into MoMA" (pictured on right) which is the...

Polanoid
Polaroid nerds of the world unite! Well it's no secret that I'm crazy in love with Polaroids. So as you might imagine, I was thrilled to bits to come across Polanoid—which it seems was created especially for Polaroid geeks like me. Polanoid is trying to build the biggest Polaroid picture collection on the planet by asking instant-picture enthusiasts around the world to register and...

Needs For Sale
This summer, New York City couple Christine Santora and Justin Gignac launched Wants For Sale, a site where they sell paintings of things that they want, at the cost of the real item. So a painting of a slice of pizza is only $3 while a Nintendo Wii goes for $270.92. (Your DSL must have been down if you missed it.) After starting the...

Boundless Gallery
We're always a fan of a good website stemming from simple ideas that have been competently executed. BoundlessGallery is one such site that connects thousands of artists from all over the world with potential buyers and clients, creating a global art marketplace that excludes the corpulent art dealer in the middle. After just a cursory look at some of the artists added in the...

LiMAC
LiMAC, billing itself as the Lima Museum of Contemporary Art, is in fact a fiction. It inhabits no physical space; it commissions no works; it does not host any real exhibits. The art, though, is real, taken from actual catalogs around the world to create an interesting visual visit. While not a brick-and-mortar institution, it has replicated the trappings of an art museum complete...

Sex In Art
We love the way Australian-based website Sex In Art takes a healthy peek at all things arty and well…sexual. There's some beautiful illustration work up there and some evocative photography. Heck, we're getting a little hot under the collar just thinking about it. While most of the work they feature is work friendly, some of it isn't. Still, it's worth more than a casual...
