Dwell Minimalist

Medium, the footwear designers who follow the simple modernist philosophy "less is more," have introduced a new sneaker model with that in mind once again. They teamed up with Dwell Magazine to bring us this limited edition sneaker the Dwell Minimalist-- hand painted on a mixture of italian leathers to give a very crafty appeal. Available in two styles, the one shown here (Ray) and Charles-- the toned down and less colorful brother.
Disfigure Design

San Francisco based Disfigure Design is on to some really great stuff. This is one of their lines of furniture that contrasts antique 1910-1930 Louis XV furniture with modern and attractive Stephen Sprouse or Paul Smith fabrics. They're currently available in stores--SF at Swallow Tail and NYC at The Future Perfect.
