Red Coles by Josh Rubin
Red Coles is a soul inspired line that features a hand made feel applied to limited runs of t-shirts, polos and sweatshirts. Eric Coles, a former music exec, designs and produces every piece in his Brooklyn studio. "The collection is a fun mix of pop culture-inspired line drawings, portraits and graphic designs. Since the illustrations all start as works on paper and not in Photoshop, the screen prints tend to have a more organic feel, says Eric.

Nat Russell T-Shirts
Oakland-based artist Nat Russell's t-shirts for Mollusk Surf Shop showcase his increasingly recognizable style. My favorites include "Sea Kat" featuring his signature pipe-smoking lion motif, the "Kyle" shirt which has a wavy-bearded man that bears an unintentional resemblance to musician Kyle Field of Little Wings and "Totally Stoked" one of three new designs for women available in two colors. All shirts are printed on...

K Adorable
Brooklyn based K Adorable has been designing and selling hand printed T-shirts for a couple years already. Their fun designs are printed in limited runs with a variety of color combinations, so there's a good chance you wouldn't see someone else sporting the same one. What's super-cool, though, is their subscription service. Just sign up and get a T-shirt treat every month!...

The Kiss Off
Though they formed last year in Brooklyn, The Kiss Off could easily pass as Manchester natives from the early '80s. The band was founded by guitarist Adam De Rosa and bassist Nathan Lithgow, who lay distorted melodies over catchy drumming and synth drones. Sam Tyndall's vocals complete the band, which sounds something like a better-produced Joy Division or a more brooding Franz Ferdinand. The...

Riedel Decanters
New from the generations-old family glassware-makers Riedel, this series of decanters takes its inspiration from birds for a collection that's as striking as it is functional. Designed by Maximillian Riedel (also responsible for leading the stemless revolution) and his father Georg and handmade by artisans in their Austrian factory, the leaded crystal vessels are all aerodynamic lines and dramatic dimensions. While the Swan (above...

Schimmel/Colani Pegasus Grand Piano
A collaboration between Italian designer Luigi "Allergic to Straight Lines" Colani and German piano-makers Schimmel in the late 1990s, the Pegasus grand piano looks like something you'd see on a Star Trek set. Updates to the classic form include a slightly curved, ergonomic keyboard (eliminating any need for the player to move their body), an electrically-controlled hydraulic lid (to control projection) and a fully...
