Field Review: Oakley Thump by Josh Rubin

Oakley Thump Josh When Oakley sent me a pair of their Thump Sunglasses, I was skeptical. Sure, the concept of embedding a music player in sunglasses is great, but I had yet to see a good implementation.

Overall, I found the Thumps to be pretty decent. The controls are very simple and the glasses are comfortable (though a bit over-styled for my taste). The sound quality is as good as any basic ear bud, but I had a hard time lining them up with my ears.

I give them a 7 out of 10 for effort and a 6 for design and implementation.
