Dukes of Hazardous Unabomber
by Josh Rubin

In New York this weekend? Don't miss this fascinating installation at Rare Gallery through Saturday.
Chris Larson's massive sculpture, entitled PAUSE, is a full-size representation of the Dukes of Hazzard '69 Dodge Charger crashing into the Unabomber's cabin -- two metaphors for lawlessness converging in time and space and providing at least one interpretation of today's geopolitical climate.

Pretty Little USB Bug
by Josh Rubin
I have to agree with Joel, this is definitely the most elegant USB drive made so far. It's only USB 1.1 (they slow version) and only holds 256MB, but that's all trumped by the gold lady bug design. For true Geek Chic all you need to do is glue a stick pin to the back of it and wear it on your lapel.

Mark Dean Veca
by Josh Rubin
Mark Dean Veca did an installation and product series for Nike last December called Pulsation (pictured after the jump), which is how I first learned of his work. That project was pretty hot, but these two earlier paintings are among my favorites. There is No Spoon (above) and Good Bye Nail Fungus (below) marry classic 18th century French style with aggressive pop imagery. Can you say twisted toîle? Brilliant.
