Neighborhoodies

by Josh Rubin

Hoodies Womens 165X250
Neighborhoodies is the success story of a couple kids running a t-shirt business out of a basement apartment and 2 years later having a thriving 30 person company. As the name suggests, their t-shirts, hoodies and underwear shout out local pride. It's taking I Love NY to down to the street level, recognizing the individuality of different parts of town. But don't worry, it's not just about NYC and LA. They've got many more places covered.

Matthew Curry

by Josh Rubin

Ninjacruise Bvd

Some of Matthew Curry’s pieces are a bit somber. There is some blood, but there is nothing wrong with that, I guess. The artist calls the work “Bleeding Heartwerks.” Many more creations can be seen on his site and a handful of less intense items are for sale framed and printed. His style of illustration and mixed media reminds me a little bit of OGI. --Josh Spear

David Choe

by Josh Rubin

David Choe Munkoandbarry

David Choe can be described simply with two words: pure talent. He has done work for many impressive and interesting clients, such as DC Comics and Toyota. He has designed shoes, t-shirts, toys, books, and even a hotel room in downtown San Francisco. He works with paints--sculpts, draws, works in acrylics, water colors, spraypaint, photos, and anything he can make art out of. His site hosts a very impressive collection of his work. Not bad for a fella that dropped out of art school and now gets asked to speak at universities all the time. His future plans? He wants to illustrate the Bible and paint the entire Great Wall of China, for a start. --Josh Spear
