Pyramat Sofa
by Josh Rubin
After stumbling around the CES for a couple hours this sofa was an intriguing and welcomed sight. It's from Hollywood based Pyramat, manufacturer of sound furniture. While the dynamic of a trade show made it hard to get a sense of the sound quality this thing was putting out, I think it was pretty good. It's probably more suited to gaming than anything else, but it does solve the problem of finding the optimal speaker positions-- wherever you move the sofa, the speakers are already lined up just right.
Creative Wireless Headphones
by Josh Rubin
Yesterday, here at CES, Creative was showing off these prototype wireless headphones. They're a bit bulky, as is the transmitter added to the Zen Micro, but the sound is really good. That's because they use a near field magnetic technology instead of Bluetooth. Peter also has a review over at Engadget.
