The Oculas 2.0
by Josh Rubin
Isn't it great when those gorgeous concept pieces we see in cult classics like The Oculas. Updates include a motorized door, Dolby 5.1 sound delivered through Harmon Kardon speakers and fully integrated Second Life.
Step by Step
by Josh Rubin
Today might be turning in to a day of featuring new work from designers previously on Cool Hunting. Remember the SMS Chandelier by Moritz Waldemeyer and Ron Arad? Waldemeyer's latest piece, Step by Step, combines the precision of computer controlled robotics with the elegance of Swarovski crystals. While this one is at home in a funky minimalists foyer, Waldemeyer should really consider making a mirror ball alter ego version to be installed at the disco du jour.
Blumen by Loop
by Josh Rubin

Remember Blumen, uses electroluminescent display technology to create a decorative surface that reacts to its environment. The botanical pattern animates in a manner to suggest natural growth and is designed to be cut and constructed in a range of shapes and sizes.
