London-based designer Richard Woods extends his "Super Tudor" style to a home in Woodstock, NY, giving the nearly 30-year-old structure a completely new look. Known for the idiosyncratic faux wood prints he designed with Sebastian Wrong fittingly called "Wrongwoods," the upstate New York home is not surprisingly "a parody of what a weekend house should be" according to contemporary art collector and home owner...

Brad Teasdale Mosaics
Brooklyn-based artist, Brad Teasdale, blends contemporary concrete and glass design with classical mosaic craftsmanship. Teasdale's aesthetic stems from a juxtaposition of the materials themselves. He combines glass, concrete, wood, and steel to articulate natural contrasts of "light and dark," "grit and beauty" and "permanence and change." His latest project, "Leela" (which means "god's play in Sanskrit), is a custom installation. To create it, Teasdale...

Fante Asafo Flags
Not long after Paul Smith's furniture and curiosity shop opened on Albemarle Street in London's Mayfair about a year and a half ago, I went in and was immediately drawn to a large, colourful and undeniably African flag that hung on the wall. I would have bought it if it wasn't something like $3000. Even so, I made a note of what it was:...
