Provision Holographic Displays
by Josh Rubin
Ronald McDonald's heart is a Coca-Cola and Provision shows it with their holographic display technology. Seriously, though, Provision has a new technology that will project three dimensional imagery that is visible from up to 100 feet away. Can you hear me Obi-Wan? I've found new ways to market to you.
NYX Wearable Displays
by Josh Rubin
I was at a certain wireless trade show last week in San Francisco where there was plenty of decent stuff, but these dudes in animated jackets from NYX were more impressive than the rest (except the Treo 650, of course). The display is quite flexible and is not raised from the surface of the fabric. To show scrolling text or a graphical animation, just plug in your a Palm Pilot loaded with the NYX software and enter whatever you want. From club kids to traffic cops, wearable displays will soon be fun, informative and sometimes annoying.

NYX doesn't have a public web site yet, but they are reachable via email.
LighTalk
by Josh Rubin
Another throw back to the Sky Writer, LighTalk goes one step further. You can scan any image to then play it back by waving the pen back and forth to illuminate the LEDs. Passing notes in class will never be the same again.
