Sony DSC-T3 by Josh Rubin

Sony_DSC-T3

Sony, today, announced a few new digital cameras, including this, the DSC-T3. The T3 is an update to the T1-- my favorite pocket camera ever. The T3 has an even better LCD screen and comes in a slightly more compact package. As they did with the T11, the big sliding lens cover has been removed. It's great that the device is now thinner, but lens covers are very good things. They addressed this on the T3 by adding a very thin metal lens cover that instantly opens with the push of the power button. Nice. The T3 should be available in October for about US$500.

Check out DPReview for detailed specs, and Gizmodo for a round up of all the new cameras announced today.

Sony Ericsson K750i
On Friday I managed to procure a Sony Ericsson K750i and after spending the weekend with it I'm very impressed. In basically the same form factor as the T610, they've jammed in a 2 Megapixel camera, MP3 player, games and all the organizational tools I use in my Treo. While it's not a Treo replacement, it's definitely a great alternate phone for one who...
Sony DSC-T1 vs. DSC-T11
I4U has a side by side comparison of Sony's 2 newest slim digital cameras, the DSC-T1 and the DSC-T11. The features, functions and interface are the same. The only difference is the case. The T11 is pearly white and thinner than the silver T1. It's thinner because the sliding lens cover has been removed. As far as I'm concerned, the lens cover is extremely...
Sony DSC-T1
The Sony DSC-T1 is the smallest 5 Megapixel camera in the world. It also has a 3x optical zoom, but the mechanics are on the inside of the camera. The display on the back is huge and the color quality is pretty great. Best of all, the software is incredibly fast, which means no waiting between snapping photos or during playback. get the DSC-T1...
Liquid Image Camera Goggles
Daydreams of summer aquatic fun reminded us of Liquid Image's Underwater Digital Camera Masks, goggles with built-in video and photo capabilities. Bringing underwater photography to a new level of convenience, buttons on top easily control the camera and crosshairs printed into the glass replaces the need for a display. Goggles come in three designs, differing in depth limitations and video quality. The Swim Video...
