Diamond Crusted iPod by Josh Rubin

pdiddy_diamond_ipod

Last night, following the MTV Video Music Awards, P.Diddy hosted a HP sponsored after party. HP gave out lots of the new iPods, but P.Diddy got the one-of-a-kind-exclusive. Engadget hooked up the photos of the blingPod, which has an obnoxious HP logo made from over 120 diamonds. I can't honestly say I like this thing, but it's still outrageous enough to be post worthy.

Who made this tricked out little iPod? None other than Adrian Anz of Ava Computers.

KAWS x Kanye West: 808 & Heartbreak Cover Art
by Tamara Warren For those of you not paying attention to recent pop culture news, New York artist KAWS' fantastical cover art montage—a cartoon-like image in red, purple pink and shades of blue swallowing up musical/sartorial/blogger sensation Kanye West—may prove to be more of a hit than the forthcoming album itself. Converging the world of animation, art and hip-hop, the work will appear on a...

Chris's personal history with the brand dates back to his childhood when he'd see them on his father, who played for the Nicaragua national football team. The senior Mendoza, a close friend of...
The Protist
A collaboration between brothers Matt and Justin Kleiner, the Protist is a music, art and design hybrid based out of Santa Barbara. Their latest project is a series of paintings that are meant to correspond with a soundtrack of original compositions. Images take traditional Japanese archetypes and couple them with more contemporary graphics and word fragments. Songs are brooding electronic soundscapes that take cues...
Dennis Juan Ma x Converse
Converse's hundredth anniversary celebratory collection of Chucks, called 1HUND(RED) (a special artist series with proceeds going to the Global Fund), has made for a lot of creativity applied to the shoe. The project is a year-long release of shoes designed by notable artists, including Auckland-based illustrator, Dennis Juan Ma, whose shoe is number twenty in the series....
