Visionaire 43

When the 43rd issue of Visionaire comes out next month it will be the first to use a revolutionary process called laser-cutting. No ink will be used because the images will be etched out of a blank black page. Based in SoHo NYC, Visionaire focuses on art and fashion and is known for pushing the limits of publishing process, presentation and content with each of its limited edition quarterly issues. 1500 copies of issue 43 will be made.

Imperfectionist

London based Imperfectionist is motivated by the uncomfortable impact of the diametrically opposed. The product of this tension is beautiful and somewhat thought provoking designs on T-shirts and selected other products. They way Imperfectionist sees it:
[It's] difficult to avoid being a hypocrite in a world where you can’t help but burn fossil fuels, gossip about football players and their wives and enjoy fatty foods, but we believe you should at least try.
The above photo is from the Guns and Roses series which is part of a triad that also includes The Battle for Evermore and Odd Bedfellows.
Poketo

Poketo collaborates with artists to make super cool wallets and wristbands. The artist works from a basic template and Poketo transfer's the piece to vinyl for construction. My fav, Spank the Monkey (above), was made exclusively for Ready Made magazine. All Poketo wallets are made available in highly limited editions sold on their web site.
