Camo Tote
by Josh Rubin
Was LL Bean trying to be trendy when they introduced this rockin camouflage tote? I kind of doubt it. Who cares, anyway? It's a great looking and water resistant bag for get-away-from-the-city weekends or for all your hunting dog's acessories.
Skin by Shelley Jackson
by Josh Rubin

Writer Shelley Jackson has invited participants to have one word (in classic book font) tattooed anywhere on their bodies. That word will be from the story titled Skin, and the full text of the story will never be published. It's up to the participants to find each-other and compile the story, if they're so interested. Less than 2 months after putting out the call for participants, nearly 1800 have already signed up. The piece has 2,095 words.
The above image is from the first tattooing-- the title. Skin.
Pills to Go
by Josh Rubin

The London-based design firm Priestman Goode designs stunning products, packaging and environments. For those of you who haven't mastered the art of the dry swallow, Pills to Go, holds asparin and a swig of water together in a neat little package. Genius. I hope some big pharma picks up this concept and uses it in a real product.
Y3 by Yohji Yamomoto
by Josh Rubin
In general, I find the Y3 line from Yohji Yamomoto a little over branded. The new web site, however, is fabulous! The impact comes from the large scale, full motion animation of models walking in place wearing each of the different looks. You can rotate the models to see all angles. Reading this as I write it, it sounds cheesy. Trust me, it's so not. Go see.
