Siemens SK65
by Josh Rubin

Siemens just announced the SK65 tri-band GSM phone. The h-o-t-t-o-g-o design features a swivel out qwerty keypad for text entry. As great as this thing looks, I wonder what it will be like to hold while texting-- it could be kind of awkward. You corporate types will also be glad to know the device includes Research In Motion's Blackberrry software so you can have email synchronized with your company's MS Exchange server. It's supposed to ship in November of this year, but there's no pricing information available as of yet.

Ecotonoha
by Josh Rubin
A brilliant little future conscious design project-- Ecotonoha was created by Yugo Nakamura, ( MONO*CRAFTS ) for NEC. By adding words as leaves you collaborate to nurture a virtual tree. As the virtual tree grows, NEC will plant real trees on Kangaroo Island in Australia. Over 600 trees have been planted so far.
