Toyota Volta by Josh Rubin
Finally. A good looking hybrid. Fabrizio Giugiaro, son of famed automotive designer Giorgetto Giugiaro, joined Toyota to launch the Volta in Geneva earlier this month. The hybrid sports car is named for physicist Alessandro Volta who invented the battery. An appropriate honor considering the car's use of both battery and gas in order to be more efficient.

With a fleet of 30 hybrid vehicles, OZOcar is New York's first eco-luxury car service. We were picked up in a clean and comfy Prius by a polite, professional driver. In...

Nathan Shedroff's new book, "Design is the Problem", presents a practical and layman-accessible exploration of sustainable design. In it, he breaks the progress towards sustainability into five parts: learning how to reduce, reuse, recycle, restore, and process. Spranq Ecofont
by Ariston Anderson If one of your resolutions was to start shifting toward a green lifestyle, we've got an easy way for you to start that involves little more than using a new eco-friendly font. While it may seem that a change in typography won't have a big impact, consider that electronic pollution (or E-waste) takes up 2% of America's trash in landfills, but 70%...
